Crafternoons & Craft Social
We have been running our Crafternoons and Craft Socials for nearly a year now.
Crafternoons are friendly, supportive and free to attend. They take place in Cafe West (in the garden when it’s nice) and we try out different crafts and welcome guest tutors to show us new skills. Just come along and join in.
Our crafters say the sessions make them feel happier and more connected in the local community.
We are grateful for Westcotes Ward Funding to continue our sessions until July.
Craft Socials are gatherings in The Western where crafters get together, bring their latest projects and have a drink (coffee or something stronger) and relax while they chat together.
Our sessions are as follows:
May 5th No Sew Rag Rugs (bring old t-shirts & scissors)
May 12th Glass Painting (bring small mirror, frame or glass to paint)
May 26th Decorative Picture Frames with Rosie & Ramona
June 10th Sustainable Sewing with Talent Nyandoro
July 1st Intro to Freeform Crochet with Skylark Crochet
July 14th Mosaic Workshop with Lucy Cooke
June 23rd June 30th July 7th (crafts to be announced!)
