Poisonous WIP

A woman is living with a secret. Inside her lives a poisonous parasite that feeds on human flesh. Lizzie is in control until she meets Rachel and starts to fall in love.

Somewhere between Poison Ivy, Little Shop of Horrors, and Chocolat, Poisonous explores lust, sexuality, and religion.

This staged reading will be the first time this romantic horror will have been performed by actors in front of a live audience.

As a work in progress, the event will be followed by a brief Q&A and feedback session with writer Charlotte Wood, director Jake Leonard, and the cast.
