Four men are stood on a stage singing into microphones. They are all wearing jeans, shirts and waistcoats and there is yellow lights and musical equipment behind them. They look as if they are singing to an audience behind the camera.

The Simpletones with The LGBT Centre Choir

A night a vocal harmony for all – join local Quartet ‘The Simpletones’ and the recently formed LGBT Centre Choir for well-known songs, interesting versions of classic tunes, and truly something for everyone – not to be missed!

The Simpletones have been entertaining crowds all over Leicestershire and the UK for the past decade, with their original take on A Cappella. A blend of vocal skill, comedic moments and great audience interaction will leave you wanting more. They perform songs from as far back as the 1920’s, all the way through to current pop songs, but always to their own special recipe!

The Leicester LGBT Centre Choir has only recently formed, but has already performed on the main stage at Leicester Pride 2021, and have a varied and engaging repertoire. Whilst based at the LGBT Centre in Leicester, the Choir really is for everyone, regardless of sexuality, gender, race, religion, or even singing experience!
